网络剧《谢文东》以主角谢文东的人生际遇还原了一个黑帮老大的成长史。谢文东从众人眼中的文弱、听话、好欺负的乖学生，到以暴制暴反抗黑暗，收服中国北方龙头北洪门并一手创立中国东北龙头文东会，带领一帮兄弟热血拼搏。同时《谢文东》将故事置身于抗日救国的二三十年代，用正义与暴力反抗日本的侵略，赋予了网剧《谢文东》更多民族力度与正能量。
