本剧以清代章回小说「七侠五义」为蓝本，传统戏曲与民间传说为参考，叙述北宋清官包拯脍炙人口流传千古的传奇故事。仁宗皇帝在位期间包拯升任开封府府尹执掌京畿，包拯刚直耿介铁面无私明察秋毫断案如神，百姓爱戴敬仰之余尊称为“包青天”。落第秀才公孙策才高八斗学富五车，为报包拯知遇之恩追随在侧为之出谋划策。江湖义士南侠展昭有感于包拯为官清正爱民如子，舍却江湖生涯投效朝廷志在襄助包拯。得此一文一武两员大将包拯屡破奇案屡建奇功。北侠欧阳春、小侠艾虎、丁氏三侠、黑妖狐智化与陷空岛五鼠本皆是令江湖宵小闻名丧胆的英雄豪杰，在展昭号召之下纷纷前来各效其力，当包拯揭贪去弊惩奸除恶之时，七侠五义的侠风义行也随之传颂于民间。
Pusong是几十年前的一名舞姬，舞团遭遇坏人入侵，死伤无数，她通过月咒，洗澡，变年轻。但是得经常在月下泡澡，不然皮肤会开始变老。后来她来到这个舞团跳舞，好心帮助了一个叫Dab的女子，Dab脸上有疤，Pusong很可怜她，让她服侍自己，后来Dab发现了Pusong的秘密，在Pusong泡澡的时候杀了她（当然没死成）没有来得及沐浴的Pusong变老了，变成了Chub阿姨，然后Dab仿照之前看到Pusong洗澡的样子，在月下泡澡，自己变得貌美了，就来这里跳舞，改名Bunrueng。女主Prom是这个舞团的人，脸上有个胎记，有个哥哥叫Poom，然后那天被Chit杀了（但是也没死，大家都以为死了），Chit是舞团女主人的儿子，然后Bunrueng也把Prom敲晕扔到了河里，Prom随着水流飘到Chub姨那里，跟Chub姨诉说了自己遭遇的一切，然后Chub打算用月咒让Prom变美，然后二人去剧团复仇，Prom改名Prim。男主则是个督察，之前就喜欢女主，但是家里指定要她迎娶千金Samon，后来调查Pusong失踪的案子和Prom失踪的案子，邂逅了Prim，二人发生一段跨世奇缘。
BBC宣布续订《神秘博士》第十一季，不过重点在于，《神探夏洛克》编剧Steven Moffat将在第十季结束后退出该剧，将帅印交给《小镇疑云》编剧Chris Chibnall，新一任博士则由《小镇疑云》中饰演死者母亲的Jodie Whittaker担任，她将是Doctor Who历史上的第十三任博士，也是首位女博士。
